Since its inception three months ago, the official website of the Proviso West Holiday Tournament, www.pwhoops.com, has received over twenty thousand visitors and more than a quarter of a million hits.
Internet surfers from countries across the globe have viewed the website to check game scores, tournament history, listen to the games live and watch streaming video – just a few of the features that could be accessed.
“Through the years the Proviso West Holiday Tournament has always been on the cutting edge of innovations, and by the responses that we have received from our website we have once again provided an outstanding avenue to provide timely information to anyone who wanted to follow the tournament,” said Executive Tournament Director Joe Spagnolo.
During the tournament, www.pwhoops.com averaged over 49,000 hits and 3,800 visitors each day. Besides viewers from Canada and Mexico, other foreign countries that had visitors to the website included those from Aruba, Australia, Belgium, China, Croatia, Estonia, Japan, Germany, Hong Kong, Italy, Norway, Philippines, Spain, Sweden and Taiwan.
