For the first time in tournament history, two evenings of the Proviso West Holiday Tournament will be telecast live, as the final two games of the Thursday quarterfinal winners bracket in addition to Saturday's Third Place and Championship game will be available on Comcast Sports Net Chicago.
The media outlet reaches more than 1.5 million homes throughout Chicagoland and has previously telecast the tournament's championship game in past years.
The Proviso West Holiday Tournament has traditionally drawn over 20,000 spectators annually over its four days of competition. The event is renown with basketball fans and is considered one of the top events of its kind in the entire nation. Over the past 46 years, the Proviso Christmas Classic has produced 28 professional basketball players and 11 state championship teams.
