PAIRINGS RELEASED FOR 47TH ANNUAL PROVISO WEST HOLIDAY TOURNAMENT |

First round
match-ups for the Proviso West Holiday Tournament were announced at the annual
Media Night. At the time of seeding, this year’s event features eleven of the
sixteen team tournament field with one or no losses – making this year’s
Christmas Classic one of the deepest in the 47-year history of the event. The
tournament will begin on Wednesday, December 26 and run through Saturday,
December 29 with all games being played in the newly refurbished Proviso West
Sports Arena.
SESSION ONE:
GAME ONE -- Evanston vs. Morton, 9:00 a.m.;
GAME TWO -- Marshall vs. Proviso West, 10:30 a.m.;
GAME THREE -- Von Steuben vs. Proviso East, 12:15 p.m.;
GAME FOUR -- Homewood-Flossmoor vs. Fenwick, 1:45 p.m.
SESSION TWO:
GAME FIVE -- Saint Patrick vs. Glenbrook North, 3:45 p.m.;
GAME SIX -- Whitney Young vs. T.F. North, 5:15 p.m.;
GAME SEVEN -- Saint Joseph vs. Hillcrest, 7:00 p.m.;
GAME EIGHT -- New Trier vs. Morgan Park, 8:30 p.m.
