Players/Counselors

Our players and managers are the heart and soul of our camps and clinics, as they are the coaches and counselors for our campers. There is nothing more gratifying than watching our current high school players and managers, along with our hoops alumni, build relationships with our campers. And those relationships often extend beyond just one week, as a number of campers attend multiple camps and clinics over the years.

The camp director and supervisors oversee the PW players as they work with the campers. The players are responsible for guiding the campers through the drills during station and skill work, and each one of them coaches a team throughout the week. They are trained to make certain every camper gets plenty of playing time in the games, while at the same time motivating the kids to compete at their best and play to win. As camp coaches our players are responsible for coaching and teaching their teams by the same guidelines we coach them – how to play hard, smart, and together with a positive attitude and respect for each other as well as the opponent.
